African Migration and Development Center

It provides an in-depth analysis of the multifaceted impacts and interactions of migration within and between the African continent on development.

The Center recognizes economic migrants and forced migrants (refugees) as agents of social, cultural, and economic change in Africa. It focuses on both the short-term changes triggered by their transnational movement and exchange, as well as the long-term structural transformations. Based on this, it seeks to explore sustainable development strategies for African countries and the potential for international cooperation.
